Welcome to this course - Introduction to Computational Thinking!  By taking part and completing this course, you will explore the basics of Computational Thinking including the vocabulary and myths associated with the term.  Computational Thinking is a set of problem-solving methods that involve expressing problems and their solutions. Welcome to our course - Making connections with ThingLink!  In this course you will explore the world of ThingLink - and use it to create unique, interactive learning experiences where you can include images, audio, video, web links and more. We love ThingLink, as it’s accessible on tablets, Chromebooks and also laptop or desktop computers. So if you’re always looking for new ways to present information for yourself and your students, then this is the course for you. We will use the ThingLink app on an iPad throughout this course - though I’ll also show you how to access your ThingLinks on a Chromebook too. We will be using the free version - though there are different subscriptions available for education. Personalised learning is when students demonstrate mastery of content in a competency-based system, they are highly involved in setting targets based on previous or lack of knowledge they have of a concept. Welcome to our course; Project Based Learning on iPad. This course will demonstrate how to create an engaging and cross curricular project using a variety of free software, tools and techniques on an iPad. The course will show you how to create professional looking, individual or collaborative projects, incorporating a range of multimedia elements as it progresses. The example project focused on during the course is aimed at a tour of a local area but the skills that are included have been so that you can easily apply them to your project based learning tasks, whilst also allowing you to differentiate between key stages and ages. As an Apple Professional Learning Provider, the course has been developed to include a wide range of iPad functions and third party apps that can be applied in a cross curricular experience, for you and your learners. Through Microsoft Teams you will bring students, staff, conversations, files and tools into one place, so everyone has instant access to anything they need to be successful inside and outside of the classroom. Class Notebook is a digital notebook for the whole class to receive, store and organise handouts, homework, and more. Whether it's the teacher or student creating a presentation through Microsoft Sway, a survey using Forms or a graded assessment via Microsoft Quiz, all of  these tools will allow your classroom to display learning in a highly visual and collaborative format.

This course is aimed to deliver the knowledge and skills you will need to navigate and create functional Teams for your classroom and planning needs. Through your iPad, Microsoft Teams will allow you to bring students, colleagues, conversations, files and Office 365 tools into a central hub to seamlessly plan, teach and mark assignments. Teams gives you multiple communication streams to personalise instruction with students and plan with colleagues, in the school building or remotely.

This course is aimed to deliver the knowledge and skills you will need to start to use Microsoft Teams to create and mark assignments with your iPad. The built-in features in Teams allows you to create, schedule, return and give feedback in an accessible format for all students. We will also explore how to create rubrics to guide student success, reuse past assignments, create Microsoft quizzes and distribute assignments to individuals or groups of students and more.
